Arrival in Siem Reap – City Tour

Day 1

Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the ancient Khmer civilization! Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, start your city tour with a visit to Wat Bo, an 18th-century pagoda renowned for its unique wall paintings depicting the Reamker (Ramayana) from the late 19th century.
Next, head to the Senteurs D'Angkor Workshop (open Monday to Friday) to see local artisans craft handmade products such as soaps, cosmetics, and aromatic candles. Observe the process of preparing traditional spices like Kampot pepper, lemongrass, and chili. Sample local creations like flavored coffee and exotic jams, and explore various exotic plants and flowers.
End the day at Psar Chars, also known as the "Old Market," where you can browse a wide variety of goods and experience the lively local atmosphere.

Full Day Angkor Complex (1)

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your exploration of the Angkor Complex. Start with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous for its colossal stone faces. Visit the Bayon Temple, known for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 smiling faces. Continue to Baphuon Temple, a representation of the holy Mount Meru. Explore the Royal Enclosure, including Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, visit Ta Prohm, a jungle-covered temple renowned for its massive fig trees and creeping vines. This temple gained fame as a filming location for "Tomb Raider" featuring Angelina Jolie.
Conclude your day with a visit to Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world, known for its extensive bas-reliefs and intricate carvings depicting Hindu legends. Enjoy the reflection of the temple in the surrounding ponds and explore its galleries, libraries, and courtyards. End the day at Phnom Bakheng Temple to watch a stunning sunset over the Angkor Complex.

Full Day Angkor Complex (2)

Day 3

Following breakfast, continue your exploration of the Angkor temples. Visit Takeo Temple, a mountain temple built in a pyramid shape to symbolize Mount Meru. Explore Preah Khan, originally a Buddhist temple dedicated to King Jayavarman VII's father. Discover Neak Pean, a delicate example of Khmer art representing the heavens on earth. Visit Ta Som, a small Bayon-style temple, and Banteay Kdei, a peaceful Buddhist temple.
In the afternoon, explore Banteay Samre, a temple built around the same time as Angkor Wat, known for its classic architecture. Continue to Banteay Srei, the "Citadel of Women," renowned for its remarkably preserved pink sandstone carvings. Return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon and visit a local market for some shopping and cultural immersion.

Transfer to Phnom Penh by Bus

Day 4

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Transfer to the bus station for your journey to Phnom Penh (bus ticket included). Upon arrival, you'll be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own or relaxing at your hotel.

Phnom Penh City Tour

Day 5

After breakfast, visit the National Museum of Cambodia, which houses over 14,000 artifacts from various historical periods of Khmer culture. Next, explore the Toul Sleng Genocidal Museum (S-21), a memorial to the Khmer Rouge regime’s atrocities.
In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, the official residence of the King of Cambodia. Marvel at the Royal Palace’s grand architecture and the Silver Pagoda’s opulent Buddha statues. Walk through the riverfront park where the Mekong and other rivers meet, and visit the sacred Phnom Daun Penh Hill and Pagoda.
Conclude your day with a visit to the Central Market, a historic market designed by French architect Louis Chauchon, known for its distinctive dome and bustling stalls.

Departure from Phnom Penh

Day 6

After breakfast, enjoy some free time to explore Phnom Penh at your leisure or do some last-minute shopping. Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
