We'll dive into the rich tapestry of French history with a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles (admission not included), famous for its breathtaking gardens. Upon our return to Paris, we'll explore the artistic charm of Montmartre, where a scenic cable car ride (included) will whisk us to this vibrant bohemian neighbourhood, renowned for its artists and cabarets. To soak in the splendor of Paris, we'll embark on a panoramic city tour with a knowledgeable local guide, highlighting the city's grand avenues and iconic landmarks. Afterward, we'll head back to the hotel, with an optional variety show available for those interested in an evening of entertainment.
We’ll kick off our day in central Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, where you'll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor of this renowned landmark (tickets included). Next, we’ll unwind with a leisurely boat cruise along the Seine, lasting about an hour and fifteen minutes, offering stunning views of Paris from the water. Afterward, you’ll have a free afternoon to explore the city at your own pace. Please note that if there are long wait times at the Eiffel Tower, we may reschedule the visit to a different time or even Sunday for your convenience.
Today, we'll embark on a delightful journey to the heart of France, meandering through the picturesque Bourgogne region, famed for its lush vineyards and exquisite wines. Our first stop is Beaune, a charming town at the heart of Burgundy, celebrated for its flower-filled streets, historic hospice, and wine museum. After some free time for lunch and exploration, we'll head to Lyon, the former capital of Roman Gaul, situated along the Rhône River. Lyon's historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and we'll take a cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for panoramic views of the city. You'll have free time to discover Lyon at your own pace. Please note, in some cases, part of the group may stay in Chambéry, a nearby city with a medieval charm. If so, we’ll travel there in the evening for an overnight stay, with time the next morning to explore Chambéry’s beautiful historic center and impressive castle.
Today, we’ll embark on a scenic journey into Switzerland. Upon arriving in Geneva, we’ll start by passing the grand Palace of Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations. We'll then explore the picturesque English Garden, home to the colorful flower clock, and marvel at the Jet d’Eau, Europe's tallest fountain. After a delightful lunch, we’ll continue our drive through Switzerland, following the scenic routes by Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel, and traversing the stunning Three Lakes region with its picturesque vineyards and mountain backdrops. We’ll make a stop in Neuchâtel, where you can take a leisurely walk by the lake, wander through the historic town center, or visit the charming 10th-century castle. Our journey will wrap up in Zurich, where we'll arrive in the late afternoon. Please note, depending on the number of travelers, we might take a train from Geneva to Zurich, which would mean we skip the Neuchâtel stop.
With our guide, we'll delve into Zurich, Switzerland's most populous city and its vibrant financial and cultural hub. Renowned for its high quality of life, Zurich has been honored twice as the world’s best city to live in. After our city exploration, we’ll set sail on a scenic two-hour cruise of Lake Zurich, making brief stops to admire the charming villages dotting the shoreline. We'll disembark in Rapperswil, a picturesque town famed for its medieval castle. Our return to Zurich will be by train, offering a chance to experience the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railway system. Please note that, depending on the number of travelers, transfers to and from the city center may be made using public transportation.
Today's journey will take you through some of Switzerland's most breathtaking landscapes,
featuring towering mountains and pristine lakes. We’ll start in the Interlaken region with a
visit to Grindelwald, where you can enjoy a coffee before taking a scenic cable car ride up
the mountain. Once at the top, we’ll walk along a winding path to a suspended bridge,
offering spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers for those with a taste for adventure.
Lunch on the mountain is included, and afterward, we’ll descend and head to Lucerne, one
of Switzerland's most picturesque cities. You’ll have time to wander and soak in its charming
cityscape before we return to Zurich.
Note: For those interested, the guide will offer an optional full-day excursion starting in the
morning. After some free time in Lucerne, you can take a rotating cable car to the summit of
Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 meters above sea level, this alpine peak provides breathtaking
views of the glacier and the majestic Alps.
We’ll leave Zurich behind and travel to the enchanting Alsace region in France. Our destination is Strasbourg, the charming capital where French and German influences create a unique blend of culture and architecture. You'll have time to explore the city and soak in its picturesque beauty. Following our visit, we’ll continue our journey to Paris, where we’ll arrive in the evening, ready to begin the next chapter of your adventure.
