In the afternoon, be sure to check the information boards at the hotel reception for all the details about the start of your tour. We’ll set off for Bern, the capital of Switzerland and one of the country’s most charming historic cities. Our first stop will be the Rose Garden viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of the city. You’ll then have some free time to explore and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we'll continue our journey to the French-speaking part of Switzerland, making a stop in Fribourg, a picturesque bilingual city with a rich heritage. From there, we’ll head towards Lake Geneva (known in France as Lac Léman), stopping in Nyon, a quaint Roman town on the lake’s edge. We’ll cross Lake Geneva by boat to enter France, arriving in Yvoire, a beautifully preserved medieval village with fortified gates, a charming castle, flower-lined streets, and magnificent lake views. We’ll conclude our day with an arrival in Geneva. Please note that accommodation is typically located in the French outskirts of the town.
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of Geneva, a charming city by Lake Geneva, home to the European headquarters of the International Labor Organization, the Red Cross, and various international organizations. Highlights include the Palais des Nations, the English Garden with its Flower Clock, and the impressive Jet d’Eau. We’ll then travel through scenic vineyard landscapes to Chillon Castle, a stunning medieval fortress on Lake Geneva’s shores, with included admission. Our journey continues to the picturesque walled village of Gruyères, known for its cheese, and nearby, we’ll visit the Cailler Chocolate Factory for a delicious tasting. The day concludes as we traverse bucolic mountain roads to Leysin, a beautiful holiday village, where dinner is included. Please note that accommodation may occasionally be arranged in another scenic Swiss town such as Martigny.
Today, we'll immerse ourselves in breathtaking mountain scenery, so make sure to pack your winter clothes. Our adventure begins with a cable car ride to Glacier 3000, one of Switzerland’s most spectacular locations, offering year-round ice and snow. Here, you can experience the thrilling suspended bridge between two mountain peaks, explore the Ice Cathedral, or enjoy the Fun Park. After a stop in Interlaken for lunch, we'll visit the stunning Aare Gorge before taking the scenic Susten Pass, renowned as one of Switzerland's most beautiful roads, which will lead us to the Italian-speaking region of the country. We’ll conclude the day with an overnight stay in Chiasso, a charming Swiss town on the border with Italy. Please note that due to weather conditions such as rain or strong winds, the Glacier 3000 cable car may be closed, and the Susten Pass Road is generally closed from mid-October to the end of May. In such cases, we will adjust the route accordingly.
Today, we'll explore Lugano, the vibrant capital of Italian Switzerland, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll around its picturesque lake. We'll then travel along the highway, passing through the Gotthard Road Tunnel and stopping in Bürglen, the quaint village where William Tell was born. Here, you can visit the 16th-century chapel adorned with paintings depicting his legendary life, and if interested, the William Tell Museum. In the nearby city of Altdorf, we’ll find additional historical sites related to Tell. Our journey continues to Lucerne, where you'll have free time to discover the city by the lake. For a memorable experience, we recommend an optional cruise on Lake Lucerne, celebrated as one of Switzerland’s most stunning waterways.
We’ll start our day with a visit to Einsiedeln, famous for its grand baroque abbey, Switzerland's most significant pilgrimage center. As we head east, we’ll arrive in Maienfeld, the village that inspired the beloved story of Heidi. In Heididorf, you can explore Heidi’s House and enjoy the picturesque landscapes via a pedestrian path (tickets not included; admission is free). Our journey then takes us into the independent country of Liechtenstein, where we’ll visit its capital, Vaduz, renowned for its impressive castle. You’ll have time to stroll and enjoy lunch before we continue to Feldkirch in Austria. This charming walled city, nestled near the borders of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany, features a beautiful medieval quarter and castle, and you’ll have some free time to explore.
We’ll start our day in St. Gallen, a city renowned as a World Heritage Site for its stunning cathedral and medieval old town. From there, we’ll travel along Lake Constance, which borders Germany and Switzerland, and enjoy a walk through the charming center of Constance. We’ll then visit Mainau Island, accessible via a pedestrian bridge, where you can explore its renowned botanical garden (admission included). Next, we’ll head to Stein am Rhein, a picturesque village on the Rhine River, famous for its beautifully painted houses. Our itinerary also includes a visit to Rhine Falls, the most powerful waterfall in Europe, with your ticket included. The day concludes with our arrival in Zurich.
With our guide, we’ll explore Zurich, the most populous city in Switzerland, and its financial and cultural heart. Known for its banks, Zurich has been twice recognized as the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we’ll embark on a scenic cruise of nearly two hours on Lake Zurich, with brief stops to enjoy the charming villages along the route. We’ll disembark in Rapperswil, a picturesque village renowned for its medieval castle. We’ll return to Zurich by train, providing an opportunity
