Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 1

Upon arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be welcomed by your Tour Manager or local guide, who will assist with your transfer to the hotel for check-in (standard check-in time is between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM). This afternoon, begin your exploration with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which provides an in-depth look at the Vietnam-American War. Continue to Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica for a photo stop outside the neo-Roman cathedral, and pass by historic European-style landmarks including the City Hall and the old Opera House. End the tour with a photo opportunity at the Reunification Palace. Return to the hotel for dinner at an Indian restaurant and an overnight stay.

Cu Chi Tunnels and Ben Thanh Market

Day 2

After breakfast, head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive network of tunnels that played a crucial role in the Vietnam War. Explore these fascinating underground passages and learn about their historical significance. Later, visit Ben Thanh Market, a popular shopping destination known for its diverse range of goods. Spend time shopping and soaking up the local atmosphere. Dinner will be served at an Indian restaurant.
For October 2024 - March 2025 Departures: After visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels, proceed to Bach Dang Station to board a water bus to Binh An Station. This unique journey offers a refreshing perspective of the city from the water. Afterward, enjoy free time at Ben Thanh Market before dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Leisure Day or Mekong Delta Tour

Day 3

Today, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before spending the day exploring Ho Chi Minh City at your own pace. Alternatively, you can opt for an optional full-day tour to the Mekong Delta, which includes a local lunch. On this tour, visit My Tho, known as the coconut homeland, and take a boat ride along the Mekong River to experience the local way of life. Board small sampan boats to navigate through coconut-lined canals, and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda before returning to the city. Dinner will be served at an Indian restaurant.
For October 2024 - March 2025 Departures: Choose between a day of leisure or an optional tour of the Mekong Delta, including a visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda and a local lunch.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi

Day 4

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, start your orientation tour with a visit to Ba Dinh Square for a photo stop at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda and the Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda. Explore the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, also known as the ‘Hanoi Hilton,’ which housed US POWs during the Vietnam War. Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, known for its historical architecture. Conclude the day with a cyclo tour around Hanoi’s Old Quarter and dinner at an Indian restaurant.
For October 2024 - March 2025 Departures: After breakfast, fly to Hanoi and enjoy a city tour featuring the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and take a 45-minute cyclo tour of the Old Quarter. Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee before dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Halong Bay Day Trip

Day 5

For those traveling from June to September, start your day with breakfast before heading to Halong Bay. Visit a pearl farm to learn about pearl cultivation and then embark on a traditional wooden junk for a cruise through the Bay. Admire rock formations like Stone Dog, Incense Burner, and Fighting Cock. Explore Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves, or simply relax on the boat. Enjoy a local lunch onboard before returning to Hanoi for dinner at an Indian restaurant.
For October 2024 - March 2025 Departures: Enjoy a day trip to Halong Bay with a day cruise, including a visit to a pearl farm. The cruise will take you past stunning rock formations and caves. Have a local lunch onboard and return to Hanoi for dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Leisure Day or Optional Tour

Day 6

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure exploring Hanoi on your own or opt for an optional tour.
For June to September 2024 Departures: Consider the optional full-day Ninh Binh tour, which includes a boat trip to Tam Coc, often called “Halong Bay on land,” and a visit to Hoa Lu, known for its historical significance. Enjoy lunch and dinner at Indian restaurants. For October 2024 - March 2025 Departures: Choose between leisure time or an optional tour to Bat Trang Ceramic Village, Hoa Lo Prison Museum, and the Temple of Literature. This tour offers insight into traditional Vietnamese pottery and history, with lunch at an Indian restaurant.

Departure

Day 7
